GOOD LIFE TAILGATES
Game Day Guidelines & Terms and Conditions

These Guidelines and Terms & Conditions apply to all Good Life Tailgates game-day rentals. By signing the rental agreement and paying the reservation deposit, the customer agrees to these terms and is responsible for ensuring that all members of their party and guests follow them.

1. Reservation & Payment

  - A $500 reservation deposit is required to reserve a game date. The reservation deposit is applied toward the total rental price.
  - A game date is not considered reserved until Good Life Tailgates has received both the required deposit and signed rental agreement.
  - For the standard $1,500 Game Day Package, the remaining balance is $1,000 and is due 14 days before the scheduled event.
  - Reservations made within 14 days of the event require payment in full at the time of booking.

2. Reservation Deposit

  - Because Good Life Tailgates has a limited number of setups available and removes a reserved game from availability, the $500 reservation deposit is non-refundable except where otherwise specifically agreed to in writing.
  - The reservation deposit is part of the $1,500 rental price and is not an additional charge.

  - All special requests should be made in advance and are subject to availability.
  - Any additional equipment or services and associated charges will be agreed upon before the event and added to the customer's reservation or invoice.

5. Food, Beverages & Disposable Supplies
Customers are responsible for providing their own:

  - Food
  - Beverages
  - Alcoholic beverages
  - Ice
  - Plates, bowls, cups, and napkins
  - Eating utensils and serving ware
  - Specialty cooking or grilling equipment

Good Life Tailgates provides basic grilling utensils with the grill. Customers requiring specialty grilling, cooking, serving, or food-preparation equipment should bring those items themselves unless arrangements have been made in advance.

6. Alcohol & Kegerator

  - Good Life Tailgates provides the 2-tap kegerator and CO₂ equipment only. Good Life Tailgates does not sell, furnish, or serve alcoholic beverages as part of the standard rental.
  - Customers are responsible for purchasing and providing their own alcoholic beverages and for complying with all applicable laws, lot rules, and regulations regarding possession and consumption.
  - The person making the reservation is responsible for their party and for ensuring that alcoholic beverages are not provided to anyone under the legal drinking age.
  - Customers and guests are responsible for arranging safe transportation and must not drink and drive.

7. Parking & Tailgate Location

  - The standard package includes two designated parking spaces at the West Depot Lot. Additional guest parking is located right next to the tailgate in parking garage #3 Blue and #4 Gold (Park & Go) not included unless specifically stated in the reservation.
  - Customers and guests must follow all parking-lot rules, posted restrictions, and reasonable directions from property owners, parking attendants, law enforcement, or event personnel.
  - Vehicles and tailgate equipment may not block traffic lanes, emergency access, neighboring parking spaces, entrances, exits, or other designated restricted areas.

8. Setup & Arrival

  - Good Life Tailgates will deliver and set up the equipment before the customer's scheduled arrival time.
  - Customers should not move, disconnect, modify, relocate, or otherwise alter the trailer or major equipment without permission.
  - Good Life Tailgates will make reasonable efforts to have the agreed equipment operational and ready when the customer arrives.

9. Teardown & Pickup

  - Good Life Tailgates provides complete teardown of its equipment.
  - If the customer's party leaves the tailgate to attend the game, teardown may begin once the group has departed for the stadium or at another mutually agreed time.
  - If the customer and guests remain at the tailgate to watch the game, Good Life Tailgates will normally begin teardown within one hour after the game ends.
  - Customers must remove all personal property before leaving the tailgate.

10. Customer Cleanup Responsibilities

  - Good Life Tailgates handles equipment breakdown and teardown. However, basic cleanup is the responsibility of the customer and their guests.
  - Before leaving the tailgate, all trash must be placed in the provided trash bags or designated receptacles, and tables and countertops must be cleared of all personal food, drinks, decorations, and belongings.
  - Excessive trash, food waste, spills, stains, bodily fluids, or other cleanup substantially beyond normal game-day use may result in an excessive cleaning fee of $150 or more.

11. Equipment Use

  - Customers and their guests must use all equipment safely and only for its intended purpose.
  - Good Life Tailgates equipment may not be removed from the designated tailgate area without permission.
  - Customers may not modify, dismantle, repair, relocate, or tamper with equipment.

12. Damage, Loss & Theft

  - The customer is responsible for damage, loss, or theft of Good Life Tailgates property caused by the customer or their guests during the rental period, except for ordinary wear and tear.
  - Charges may include the reasonable cost to clean, repair, replace, or restore damaged or missing equipment.
  - Good Life Tailgates may require a separate refundable security deposit or payment-card authorization. The $500 reservation deposit is not the same as a damage/security deposit.

13. Grill & Fire Safety

  - The grill must remain in its designated outdoor location and must be attended while operating.
  - Customers may not bring or operate unauthorized fire pits, fireworks, open-flame devices, or additional cooking equipment without prior approval.

14. Canopies & Weather

  - Nebraska weather can change rapidly. Good Life Tailgates reserves the right to lower, secure, remove, disconnect, or prohibit use of canopies, televisions, electrical equipment, or other items when wind, lightning, storms, severe weather, or other conditions create a safety risk.
  - Weather conditions alone do not automatically create a right to a refund after equipment has been delivered and setup has occurred.

15. Customer & Guest Conduct

  - The person making the reservation is responsible for the conduct of their party and guests.
  - Fighting, vandalism, theft, illegal drug activity, harassment, intentional equipment damage, or dangerous behavior is strictly prohibited. Serious violations may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

16. Personal Property

  - Customers are responsible for their own personal belongings. Good Life Tailgates is not responsible for unattended, lost, or stolen customer property.

17. Cancellation Policy
Because a reserved game date is removed from availability:

  - 30 or more days before the event: Customer forfeits the $500 reservation deposit but owes no additional rental balance.
  - 15–29 days before the event: Customer may be responsible for up to 50% of the total rental price.
  - 14 days or less before the event: The full rental amount may be due.
  - If Good Life Tailgates is able to rebook the canceled date, a partial credit toward another available event may be provided at our discretion.

18. Game Schedule Changes

  - College football schedules and kickoff times are subject to change. The customer's reservation is for the scheduled game/event and not a guaranteed kickoff time. A change in kickoff time does not automatically cancel the reservation.

19. Safety & Right to Terminate Service

  - Good Life Tailgates reserves the right to discontinue use of equipment or terminate service when reasonably necessary to protect customers, guests, employees, equipment, property, or the public.

20. Acceptance of Terms

  - By signing the rental agreement and paying the reservation deposit, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to these Game Day Guidelines & Terms and Conditions.
